Call for Programs

The Call for Programs has closed.  Thank you to all O∆K members and circles who submitted proposals.

You are invited to submit a program proposal for the 50th Biennial Convention and Leadership Conference to be held May 31- June 3, 2018, at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. The event is a professional conference which strives to foster leadership development for O∆K members in multiple aspects of campus and post-collegiate life. This conference will build a sustainable future for our membership by helping them expand their leadership abilities and increase their awareness of community and social issues.

Proposals will be evaluated on the following:

  1. clarity of proposal;
  2. purpose and objectives/learning goals;
  3. how learning objectives contribute to leadership development;
  4. relevance of the topic to the identified audience;
  5. overall creativity, and
  6. projected participant engagement.

In addition to these criteria, the Programming Committee is actively seeking programs which will engage participants in leadership discussions about:

  • O∆K Member Engagement,
  • Leadership Development,
  • Careers and Leadership, and/or
  • Circle Programming.

The call for program proposals CLOSED Sunday, January 28, 2018. The Programming Committee will review the proposals and contact all presenters by February 28, 2018, so there will be enough time for travel arrangements to be made for Nashville. Presenters are expected to attend the whole conference and will pay the regular conference rate. For more information about convention pricing, click here.
